Hmm. I'm going to be getting out the candles soon as an early snow storm threatens power outages. I hope my candles don't behave like this! Great drawing.

Wow, this is one of my favorites! Great lines. I love the little character and the composition. Even his little robe and slippers are really great. And the light around the candle, all really well done.

Thank you everyone for all the lovely comments, I'm going to have to slow down to one sketch a week shortly I fear, but I'll still be posting. Hopefully some of these images will be redrawn for an exhibition in Tokyo next year, I'll keep you posted.

I love this: concept, composition, use of hatching. The monster grows out of the candle smoke so beautifully and just the right amount of scariness for the age group.
