A Drawing a Day #12

I started this as a ship with cloud sails, but as often happens in my sketchbook it just grew, and grew.

I love them all!
Stunning work (play) that shows years of mastery - not many people can doodle just like that.

John, your picture's are so inspiring. I just wish I could write a story a day about each of them. What worlds could be created.

Mr McGreevil is definitely rattling around in my head. He's up to something in there but I'm not sure what yet.
Please don't stop! Even if it becomes a page every two days.

John, I saw your email to British SCBWI, and just wanted to pop by and let you know I've been following your blog for some time and enjoying all your doodles! It's so hard as an artist to find time to balance work with play, when both are needed for success. Best wishes in figuring out a balance that works for you.

Beautiful work. The detail draws me in. And I'm amazed at your productivity.
